Ikhana is a Native American Owned, SBA 8(a) Certified full service design-build company that provides design and construction services to clients across a wide range of markets, including Federal, State, Local Government, civic, commercial, educational, hospitality, and retail. Ikhana means “intelligentin the Choctaw language.
Our business principles and philosophy are simple: leverage resources to review, evaluate, design and recommend the most efficient, cost effective, fastest and safest method possible for our clients to procure and build the facility of their needs. Our company will strive for constant improvement in both process and product to ensure that clients receive the best possible design, innovation and service.
8(A) Small Business: SBA Certified
The 8(a) Business Development Program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. The 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The 8(a) Program is an essential instrument for helping socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs gain access to the economic mainstream of American society. INDIAN INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The Indian Incentive Program (IIP) is a congressionally sponsored program that provides a 5% rebate back to the prime contractor on the total amount subcontracted to an Indian-Owned Economic Enterprise or Indian Organization, in accordance with DFARS Clause 252.226-7001. Through the generation of subcontracts to the above mentioned entities, the IIP fulfills its purpose as an economic multiplier for Native American communities.
